Foxborough (Massachusetts), Jun 13 (IBNS): Brazil crashed out of Copa America soccer tournament, eliminated by a solitary 75th minute controversial goal by Peru during the group match played at the Gillette Stadium, on Sunday.
According to protesting Brazil players, Peru's Raul Ruidiaz appeared to push the ball into the net with his hand, the media reported.

But referee Andres Cunha, after a discussion with the linesman, waved away protests by Brazilian players.

This is Peru's first win against Brazil in an international match in 31 years.

Peru's will play Colombia in the quarter-final.

Brazil had reached the tournament quarterfinals in every Copa America since 1993.
