Bolt to participate in Paris Diamond League

Paris, Feb 12 (IBNS): Sprint star Usain Bolt will be participating in the Areva Diamond League meet this year.

Bolt tweeted: "Can't wait @MEETINGAREVA: He's Back!!! Usain will be in Paris on July 4 for the #MeetingAreva ! #IAAFDiamondLeague.”

"The Jamaican has given his consent to the French Athletics Federation, organiser of the 8thstage of the Diamond League IAAF. He’ll take his place on the Stade de France track on Saturday 4 July 2015, where he’ll be running the 100m, one of the main events of the evening," paris.diamondleague.com said.

The Jamaican sprinter holds a meeting record of 9.79 seconds. He had set it in 2009.
