BCCI constitutes committee for managing Rajasthan cricket

Mumbai, Sept 4 (IBNS) The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has constituted an ad-hoc committee for managing cricket affairs in Rajasthan. The committee has been tasked to ensure the participation of Rajasthan teams in various BCCI tournaments in the upcoming domestic season.

In a release, the BCCI said the committee consists of Mr. CK Khanna, Mr. Milind Kanmadikar, Mr. Snehal Parikh and Dr. PV Shetty. Mr. Amrit Mathur will be the coordinator of the committee.

Commenting on the appointment of the committee,  Jagmohan Dalmiya, BCCI President, said: "This step is in line with the BCCI philosophy of keeping the interest of cricket and the players on top priority. Like any other side playing domestic cricket in India, Rajasthan cricketers will have all the facilities, exposure and opportunities to perform and excel."  
 
Anurag Thakur, Honorary Secretary of the BCCI, said, "This move is to ensure that the interests of players are protected and they are provided every possible opportunity to showcase their talent. The BCCI is committed to support cricket in Rajasthan and ensure that players at all levels are able to play and participate in BCCI tournaments in a positive environment."
