BCCI conducts language and communication skills workshop for umpires

| | Jul 20, 2016, at 04:37 am
Mumbai, July 19 (IBNS): The BCCI on Tuesday organised a course for umpires on English language and communication skills.

" The first batch took place from July 12 to 16 and the second is scheduled from July 19 to 23 in Mumbai," read the BCCI website.

"The course has been designed by the British Council along with the International Cricket Council and is aimed at equipping the match officials with requisite communication skills. While the course focussed language skills in its first year (2015), it was customized for the umpires by adding the language and communication skills required for umpires during the course of a match to the curriculum," it said.
