Wellington, Jan 13 (IBNS): Bangladeshi cricketers Shakib Al Hasan and Mishfiqur Rahim have entered the record books by virtue of their partnership in the first and ongoing Test match against New Zealand in the latter's backyard.

The duo of Shakib and Mushfiqur added 359 runs for the fourth wicket which currently stands at the fourth position in all time highest list for the said wicket.

The visitors have also put on a massive 542 runs for the loss of seven wickets by the end of day's play on Friday, day two of the Test match.
