Bangladesh series: Wriddihiman Saha named in Indian squad

New Delhi, Jan 31 (IBNS): Wriddihiman Saha has been named in the one-off Test series against Bangladesh as the Indian squad for the match was announced by selectors on Tuesday.

Wicket-Keeper Parthiv Patel has been dropped from the side.

The All-India Senior Selection Committee of the BCCI met in Delhi today to select the 16-member squad to play the Paytm Test Match against Bangladesh in Hyderabad from Feb 9 to 13, 2017.

The Senior Selection Committee also selected the 15-member India ‘A’ team to play three-day warm up game against Australia in CCI, Mumbai from Feb 16-18, 2017.

The teams are as follows:-

India Team for Test match against Bangladesh:-

1. Virat Kohli (Captain), 2. Murali Vijay, 3. KL. Rahul, 4. Cheteshwar Pujara, 5. Ajinkya Rahane, 6. Karun Nair, 7. Wriddihiman Saha (WK), 8. R. Ashwin, 9. Ravindra Jadeja, 10. Jayant Yadav, 11. Umesh Yadav, 12. Ishant Sharma, 13. Bhuvneshwar Kumar, 14. Amit Mishra, 15. Abhinav Mukund, 16. Hardik Pandya.

India ‘A’ team for the three practice game against Australia:-

1. Hardik Pandya (Captain), 2. Akhil Herwadkar, 3. Priyank Kirit Panchal, 4. Shreyas Iyer, 5. Ankit Bawne, 6. Rishabh Pant, 7. Ishan Kishan (WK), 8. Shahbaz Nadeem, 9. Krishnappa Gowtham, 10. Kuldeep Yadav, 11. Navdeep Saini, 12. Ashok Dinda, 13. Mohammed Siraj, 14. Rahul Singh, 15. Baba Indrajith.
