Australia beat India by 32 runs in third ODI
Ranchi, Mar 8 (IBNS): A century by Indian skipper Virat Kohli couldn't win India the third ODI against Australia here on Friday.
Australia won their first match in the five-match ODI series here by 32 runs. Incidentally, Ranchi is former Indian captain M.S. Dhoni's hometown.
Batting first, the visitors scored 313 for the loss of five wickets in 50 overs.
U.T. Khawaja was the top scorer with 104 of 113 balls. A.J. Finch scored 93 off 99 balls.
India's Kuldeep Yadav took three wickets while conceding 64 runs.
The home team, on the other hand, was all out with four balls to spare.
Virat Kohli scored 123 off 95 balls. Local boy Dhoni scored 26 off 42 balls.
P.J. Cummins and J.A. Richardson did some very tight balling and picked up three wickets each.
The five-match ODI series now stands 2-1 in favour of India.
