Asian Games: President congratulates medal winners

New Delhi, Sept 27 (IBNS) President Pranab Mukherjee on Saturday congratulated Pemba Tamang, Vijay Kumar and Gurpreet Singh for winning the silver medal in the men’s 25m centre fire pistol team event at the Asian Games – 2014.

In individual messages, the President said, “I am extremely delighted and proud that you have won the Silver Medal in the Men’s 25m centre fire pistol team event at the Asian Games – 2014. You have proved that hard work will always bring laurels."

"Your achievement today should be an inspiration for more of our youth to take up sports as a full time career. The whole country joins you and your family in celebrating this impressive achievement," he said.
