Asian Games: Disappointing day 5 for India except Shardul Vihan's surprise gold

| @indiablooms | Aug 23, 2018, at 10:27 pm

Jakarta, Aug 23 (IBNS): Shooter Shardul Vihan's surprise gold in double trap event is the only thing India can boast of on the fifth day of Asian Games 2018.

This is the most disappointing day for India as they could win only one gold.

The Kabaddi gold was lost in a shocker as India had to settle for bronze in that segment along with tennis.

Following their poor performance on Thursday, India slipped down to the tenth position.

So far, India won four gold, four silver and 10 bronze for a total of 18 medals.
