Dubai, Sept 26 (IBNS): Spirited Afghanistan drawn their Super Four match against India in the Asia Cup 2018 at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium here on Tuesday.

Batting first, Afghanistan scored 252/8 in 50 overs.

Wicket-keeper batsman Mohammad Shahzad was the top scorer for the Afghans with his 116-ball 124 runs innings.

Chasing a target of 253, India, despite a good start provided by KL Rahul (60) and Ambati Rayudu (57), failed to cross the line.

India were bowled out by Afghanistan for 252 in 49.5 overs.

On Tuesday, in absence of skipper Rohit Sharma, Mahendra Singh Dhoni led the men-in-blue for the first time in two years.
