Colombo/IBNS: India captain Rohit Sharma won the toss and elected to bat first against Sri Lanka in a Super Four match of Asia Cup 2023 here on Tuesday.

India have made one change to their side by bringing in Axar Patel for Shardul Thakur.

The pitch might assess spinners, said Rohit at the toss citing the reason behind the change.

Sri Lanka have kept their playing XI unchanged.

India won their first Super Four match against Pakistan by 228 runs on Monday.

India's win was driven by centuries from Virat Kohli and KL Rahul while Kuldeep Yadav scalped five wickets to wrap up Pakistan innings cheaply.
