The Hague, June 18 (IBNS) Dutch football club Ajax has reached an agreement with Mateo Cassierra and Deportivo Cali for the Colombian’s transfer.

" In Amsterdam, the striker signed an contract that goes into effect on July 1, 2016, and lasts for five seasons, until June 30, 2021," read the club website.

Cassierra was quoted as saying by the website: “I’m very happy to be here.  I know many big names from the past: Johan Cruijff, Marco van Basten en Luis Suarez.  Ajax has a great history.  It’s fantastic that I will be wearing the Ajax jersey.  This is a dream come true.”
