After his message to celebrate pollution-free Diwali, Yuvraj Singh now faces social media trolls

New Delhi, Oct 15 (IBNS): Indian all-rounder Yuvraj Singh faced social media trolls after he posted a video message for his fans on Twitter and urged them to celebrate pollution-free Diwali this year.

While several people supported his message, some started trolling him and reminded him of the fireworks at his wedding reception.

Singh tweeted: "Say no to crackers, let’s celebrate a pollution free Diwali #saynotocrackers #pollutionfree."

But his message ended up with some people trolling him on social media.

One Ankur Singh tweeted: "Crackers cause pollution only on Diwali, not on weddings @YUVSTRONG12 ? (pic via-@pokershash)."

Anoter SirAkshayKumar said: "“It’s not ok to burn crackers on Diwali, but it’s ok to burn crackers for my wedding.” Hypocrisy jumped from 100th floor @YUVSTRONG12."

One Mishra Vikas posted: "Hello Yuvraj Singh, Crackers creates pollution during diwali and not during your wedding!."

Considering the increase in air pollution at the national capital, the Supreme Court upheld the ban on the sale of firecrackers in Delhi on Monday till Nov 1, media reports said.

The sale of firecrackers, which is currently banned, will begin from November.

Earlier, in 2016, the ban was imposed on fire crackers in Delhi.

India will celebrate Diwali this week.
