Advani, Shandilya gets top seeding in Senior Billiards knock-out
The top 16 will now vie for the title on a knock-out basis, with the finals scheduled on Jan 17.
Pankaj Advani and Ashok Shandilya are on the top of their game, having lost just one frame each in the league stage.
The Pre-Quarters will see Pankaj Advani pitted against 16-seed Manish Jain, Ashok Shandilya against Jaiveer Dhingra while Rupesh Shah will clash with Nikhil Ghadge, and Sourav will clash with Dhvaj Haria.
Commenting on the draw, former World Champion and Chief National Coach of India, Manoj Kothari, said: “While the composition of the Top 16 holds no surprises, it is actually quite a challenging field.
