New Delhi, July 7 (IBNS): A 23-member Indian U-23 National Team coached by National Coach Stephen Constantine left for Singapore on Thursday (July 6, 2017) late-night to play two International Friendly matches with the Singapore U-23 National Team. The two matches slated for July 9 and 12 respectively.

The U-23 boys headed to Singapore on the back of an 18-day Camp in New Delhi. The two matches are part of the Team’s preparation for the forthcoming AFC U-23 Qualifiers where India have been clubbed with hosts Qatar, Turkmenistan and Syria in Doha from July 19, 2017.

Constantine felt the experience in Singapore would prove to be “immensely beneficial.”

“This will be the first time when most of the boy will play an International match,” he said. “The boys need to adapt quickly to the high intensity of an International match, especially that the bigger challenge in Doha lies ahead,” he stated.

“We have treated the U-23 boys the same manner we train the Senior National Team with respect to the training, the meetings, the discipline and the diet plan.”

Both matches will be streamed live on https://mycujoo.tv/ch/320 .
