On Reddit, several users claimed that Palaash had been seen getting close to another woman.
Some posts even alleged that Smriti’s father discovered the supposed affair during a pre-wedding event, which then triggered a heated confrontation and possibly contributed to his heart attack.
However, none of these claims have been confirmed, and the Reddit thread containing them has since been deleted, leaving the rumours unverified.
Neither Palaash nor Smriti has publicly responded to these allegations.
More screenshots circulated online, purportedly showing conversations between Mary and Palaash in which he allegedly asked her to meet him.
When Mary questioned him about his relationship with Smriti, the messages showed him referring to it as “dead most” and claiming it functioned like a “long-distance” relationship.
The alleged chats show Mary repeatedly asking about his status with Smriti, while he continued to downplay the relationship and urged her to meet.
Palaash has not commented on these viral images, and their authenticity cannot be independently confirmed.

Amid the health scare involving her father and the explosion of unverified cheating claims, fans noticed that Smriti Mandhana had quietly removed all her pictures with Palaash from her social media accounts.
This action intensified speculation surrounding the couple’s relationship.
Smriti, who played a key role in India’s dominant run in the ICC Women’s World Cup 2025, had been in a relationship with Palaash since 2019 after meeting through mutual friends.
Their bond grew over shared interests in cricket and music. They kept their relationship private for years before making it public in 2024.
Palaash even tattooed “SM18” on his hand—a tribute to Smriti’s initials and jersey number.
