New Delhi, Nov 12 (IBNS) Ace filmmaker Dr.Chandraprakash Dwivedi, who is gearing up for the release of his next directorial venture, Zed Plus, launched the trailer of his film at a grand event in Mumbai.
The trailer launch was a unique event where the lead actors of the movie- Adil Hussain and Mona Singh arrived in-character.

The event kicked-off with a small play, which introduced the key characters of the film and it was narrated by Hrishita Bhatt.

Shivani Tanksale, Mukesh Tiwari and Rahul Singh, who play pivotal roles in the movie, also attended the event.

Dwivedi said that not many political satires are made these days and as it is an interesting genre, he decided to make Zed Plus.

The Pinjar director said, "I think these days there is no space for political satires in Hindi cinema. Our life is related to politics and we don’t make films on politics and common man. I thought this was an interesting concept and therefore decided to make a political satire”.

"People feel they have to keep their brains at home to watch films but please get your brains with you to watch Zed Plus," advised the National Award-winning filmmaker.

Actress Mona Singh was quick to respond, "I am not doing too many films because not too many intelligent scripts are being offered to me. I loved the script of Zed Plus. I didn't have to do any research as I just followed my director's instructions. After doing this film I feel I am a director's actor."

Presented by Niyati and Akshay M Shah and Produced by Mukund Purohit and Mandira Kashyap, Zed Plus is slated to release on Nov 28.
