Subhash Ghai's Jaanaki mirrors reality as an abandoned daughter travels from France to find her parents in India

In a bizarre incident, a young girl named Neha from France, travelled back to Pune, in search of her biological parents.

Apparently, Neha was only 30 days old, when she was adopted by a French couple and now after 21 years, she has returned back to India with a yearning to meet her biological parents.

Neha's  story mirrors the storyline of Subhash Ghai's maiden television production 'Jaanaki.' Mukta Arts' first television production, which is currently premiering on DD National, is shattering records owing to its unique storyline based on a young girl named 'Jaanaki' who is abandoned by her parents.
