Khan flew down to Kolkata with his actor daughter Suhana Khan for the game, which was interrupted by heavy rain in just the fourth over.
Spectators cheered loudly as the 60-year-old appeared on the giant screen inside the stadium.
Seated in his private hospitality box, Khan was seen chatting with KKR Managing Director Venky Mysore before stepping out onto the balcony to wave at fans who had been eagerly waiting for a glimpse of him.

Khan’s Dubai shoot for King cancelled amid Iran war
The Dubai leg of shooting for King, starring Shah Rukh Khan, has been cancelled amid the ongoing Iran war, Mid-Day reported.
A large-scale desert action sequence was originally planned in Dubai. However, escalating tensions in West Asia forced the makers to shift the shoot to Mumbai.
The production team had already secured permissions for a week-long schedule beginning April 9, but the plan was dropped due to safety concerns for the cast and crew.
The sequence will now be recreated at a studio in Mumbai, where the production design team has built an artificial desert set in Vile Parle.
