Mumbai, Feb 13 (IBNS): Excel Entertainment's Rock On 2 is set to go on floors this year. Shraddha Kapoor is playing the female lead in the film.
Rock On is a cult classic and it had great demand for a sequel. After the success of their first sequel Don 2, Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani are now geared up for the sequel of Rock On.

The film will feature the epic trio from the first part; Farhan Akhtar, Arjun Rampal and Purab Kohli.

Shraddha plays a young girl who joins the band and brings about a lot of changes. She has a beautiful voice and is going to be singing in the film.

Confirming the news, Shraddha says, "I am extremely excited to be a part of Rock On 2. I am a big fan of the first part and and love the character I am playing in the sequel. It is a role that involves singing and live performances and that very few roles give you a chance to do.”

Excel Entertainment has an exciting year with the release of Bangistan and Dil Dhadakne Do. Also, Rock On 2 goes on floors and Nitya Mehra’s film is in the pre production stage.
