Mumbai: Pranitaa Pandit had planned a special celebration for her daughter Anysha, who turned two on August 7.

The actor and her husband Shivi Pandit wanted to make the day special for the little one.

She talks about the celebrations, parenthood changing their lives and how Anysha enjoys spending time in their Goa home.

We had a small celebration planned in Goa this year and this is the first time we did something like this in our new home. So, it was a different ball game altogether because in a space like Bombay you have everything organised and everything is on your doorstep and it’s very easy. But a smaller town has its own challenges and plus points. But yes the celebration went well, we had a little party for the kids of her play school. They all had so much fun,” says the happy mother.

Pranitaa has never been a person who really values birthday gifts but kids do. The reason why is because she has got Anysha a lot of gifts that the little one would enjoy.

“It’s like a huge hamper that has got something sweet to play with, something educational and so on. She gets very excited about little toys, so I try to keep it simple. It’s not like I give her many toys at a time so it’s like 20 toys max. Even when I take her to a store, I let her choose one thing and I remember once she picked up a small ball and was happy to bring it home. What I was fascinated about was her smile that never left her face throughout the day,” says the actor.

In two years life has changed, according to Pranitaa. Parenthood teaches one a lot of new things.

“I think the best phase of the child’s life starts when they’re one and a half or two. I'm enjoying every moment with Anysha and I'm so happy to be able to spend a lot of quality time and my bond with her has increased. There is a lot of love. I live in a joint family so she has a different relationship with everyone and it's so beautiful to see that because she knows every person, she deals with everyone differently. I'm really happy that I'm getting to see her grow up. I enjoy spending time with her and also doing my work. And, I have equal respect for working moms and those who have called it quits because now I understand what it takes to bring up a child. I am trying to balance a lot of things every day and keep doing that till she grows up enough to take care of herself,” she adds.

Talking about how much Anysha enjoys her new home in Goa, the actor shares that one of the reasons that actually made her buy a property in Goa is her daughter.

“She loves it here given all the space, breeze, and sea. She has so many more activities to do here. I’m just feeling that her growing up has taken a very different route which I really didn't plan in advance but was just maybe it was destiny and is perfect the way it is. Good that she is spending so much time with nature, which is very important for every child. I was the one who was very anxious and was not happy initially here and was just dying to rush back to Bombay for every little reason that I could find. But looking at her and seeing her bloom has really made me love this place all the more. She has also started making friends, going out and it’s a great space to be in,” Pranitaa shares.
