Kolkata/IBNS: Tollywood actor-MP Nusrat Jahan has almost plunged into the Durga Puja mood launching the pujo collection of Latin Quarters in Kolkata's South City Mall Wednesday.

Speaking of her Durga Puja plans, Nusrat tells the media she always prefers saree during the grand occasion and to spend this time in Kolkata, which is the epicentre of the festival.

"One hundred percent I will wear saree on Puja days. I will wear saree during the day and western in the evening if I go out with friends," she said.

Speaking of Latin Quarters which unveiled its pujo collection Wednesday, the popular actor said, "Irrespective of the number of dresses in the closet, women feel like buying new clothes on every occasion.

"So it's a great opportunity to buy clothes from here just before puja. Though it's very much global, the brand has designed the clothes keeping the Indian persona in mind."

On the work front, Nusrat was last seen in Sayantan Ghoshal's Swastik Sanket.

The actor entered into politics in 2019 by successfully contesting the Lok Sabha elections on a Trinamool Congress ticket.
