Mumbai, Oct 1 (IBNS): India's King of Pop Daler Mehndi has proven his musical expertise once again. Struck by a thought that took his fancy, the talented artist composed and recorded his rendition of the 'Hanuman Chalisa' overnight while working at his studio in Delhi.
Daler Mehndi, feeling thoroughly inspired during the auspicious festival of Navratri, decided to compose and record his rendition of the ‘Hanuman Chalisa’. A night of hard work in the supercharged DM Folk Studio led to the creation of the song.

Speaking about this new song, Daler Mehndi said, “Happy Navratri to all. Just as Hanuman Ji is an epitome of devotion towards Lord Ram, may this Navratri teach us how to unconditionally love the Supreme Power, the Shakti that made us and that takes care of us... Without question and without doubt. Rab Rakha.” The artist has been known for his spirituality and faith in God, which he claims has brought him this far in his life.

Considered an authority on North Indian folk music, the acclaimed musician has taken years of extensive training in singing. He will present his fans with a gift this Navratri in the form of an energizing new track. The singer tweeted on his official handle stating that this Navratri has blessed him with this special gift which he will be sharing with his fans soon.

Daler Mehndi’s ‘Hanuman Chalisa’ includes the verse 'Sri Ram Jai Ram’ which was added after a close friend suggested it to the singer. He revealed that this was the first time he ever read the Hanuman Chalisa and that he felt an immense joy while making this new track. He is confident that his fans will feel a similar joy and happiness when they hear the song.
