Nargis Fakhri to raise fund for J&K flood as a part of her b'day plan

Mumbai, Sept 22 (IBNS): Bollywood beauty Nargis Fakhri turns a year older next month and she has already revealed one of her birthday wishes to her fans.
The gorgeous actress has started a special online fundraiser in conjunction with ketto.org to raise funds and provide support in form of survival kits to the victims of the Jammu and Kashmir floods. 
 
The fundraiser will span a month running up and culminating on her birthday which is on Oct 20.
 
Nargis said to the media, “I want to help in a larger way and use my voice to help mobilize more people and thus decided to initiate a month long online fundraiser with Ketto, as a run up to my birthday, and have people's donations sponsor survival kits for people and families in Kashmir. We end up spending so much on ourselves on occasions like birthdays which don't really help change anyone's lives. I'm actually glad that I'm able to use the occasion of my birthday to ensure that my fans and I truly help make a difference to those in need."
 
Nargis had played the role of a Kashmiri in her debut Bollywood film Rockstar and shot in locales of Kulgam, Kupwara and Srinagar.
