Munisha Khatwani to tie the knot with Sameer Thakur on Mar 25

Mumbai: Actor-tarot card reader Munisha Khatwani and long time beau entrepreneur Sameer Thakur are ready to take the next step in their relationship.

The couple will be tying the knot on Mar 25.

An excited Munisha says, “We are very happy. In total there are three functions, a small mehendi on March 22, which is just with family, friends and cousins. The next day there is a cocktail party and then the day of the ceremony.”

“One becomes more responsible. I’m very adjusting and share a healthy bond with my in-laws, also my would-be husband is quite chilled out, so things won’t be difficult. I will only have the marriage tag attached to me, rest I am allowed to do anything and everything that I like. Everything remains the same, so I think I’m quite lucky,” she continues, “The other reason why I am not expecting much changes is because technically Sam is going to continue to live in Africa for the next one or two years. He will be visiting us every few months. Once he is back things will be better.”

Talking about the significance of marriage, she says, “Marriage is all about the commitment and the sacredness towards it. Sam and I have been married to each other mentally for almost two years so this ceremony is just a formality for of course the society, family and many other reasons. Our parents would have also wanted things to happen in a certain way and we are only abiding by that. We were happy being in a committed relationship because our outlook towards life is very different but then we thought that let’s go ahead and formalise it.”

Meanwhile, workwise Munisha is open to doing TV and OTT. “I am ready to take up substantial parts. Platform does not matter. In fact, a few things might work out, let’s see what happens next,” she adds.
