Mumbai: Bollywood's powerful actress Kangana Ranaut started trending online on Sunday after she shared her latest image from the set of upcoming movie 'Thalaivi'.

Her new look as late Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J. Jayalalithaa surely earned the attention of netizens.

In the latest images shared on Instagram, Kangana could be seen sporting a sari and her hair is tied back into a bun.

The monochrome image was shared with the caption that read: "With the blessings of Jaya Ma we completed one more schedule of Thalaivi- the revolutionary leader. After corona many things are different but between action and before cut nothing changes. Thank you team @vishnuinduri @shaaileshrsingh #alvijay."

The movie is a biopic on the former Tamil Nadu CM.

It will be released in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi.

The shooting of the movie resumed recently after COVID-19 imposed lockdown was eased.
