'Jawan': 'First and last time went bald,' says Shah Rukh Khan in Dubai
After delivering his career's biggest hit in early 2023 with 'Pathaan', Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan is gearing up for his upcoming release, 'Jawan', which hits theatre houses on September 7.
The film's trailer, which was dropped by the makers on Thursday, has already created ripples on social media.
Among various factors that have interested the netizens, Shah Rukh's multiple looks in the film have caught the attention of the audience already.
Besides his onscreen romance with Nayanthara, the actor's never-seen-before bald look in the teaser and trailer stood apart.
Now during his promotions in Dubai, Shah Rukh spoke about his bald look and claimed he would never appear without hairs in films ever.
"I'm even bald in the film, so that's something I'm never ever going to be in my life. It was the first and the last time," the 57-year-old actor, who has been ruling the box office for three decades, said.
About the film
Alongside SRK, the film, which is directed by Atlee, stars Nayanthara and Vijay Sethupathi in the lead roles.
SRK, who plays a former soldier in the film, is seen in the trailer hijacking a metro while Vijay's never-seen-before avatar is explored.
Besides a few romantic sequences between SRK and Nayanthara, the viewers can't miss superstar Deepika Padukone in the trailer.
'Jawan', which is produced by Red Chillies Entertainment, will be released in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada.
The film will have a theatrical release on September 7.
