ItsMajja Music & Originals ventures into Bengali digital entertainment

Kolkata/IBNS: ItsMajja has ventured into the regional content creation with the launch of ItsMajja Music Bangla and ItsMajja Originals Bangla.

The grand unveiling at Hyatt Centric, Kolkata, was attended by some of the biggest names in the Bengali film and music industry, marking a milestone in the evolution of Bengali digital entertainment.

The platform's expansion into Bengali content comes with an ambitious slate of 20 music projects and two web series, promising fresh and engaging storytelling for audiences.

As a part of the launch, ItsMajja announced its first musical project, Jaani Dekha Hobe Abar, featuring actors Ranojoy Bishnu and Shyamoupti Mudly.

The initiative brings together an impressive lineup of artists, including renowned actors Aparajita Adhya, Trina Saha, Angana Roy, Ena Saha, Neel Bhattacharya, Rwitobroto Mukherjee, and others. Acclaimed musicians like Anupam Roy, Ishan Mitra, and Ankita Bhattacharjee will also be contributing to the platform’s upcoming music releases.

Spearheading the launch, Sourin Dutta, Founder & Mentor of Media One Solutions & ItsMajja, highlighted the platform’s vision for Bengali entertainment.

Calling it "the world’s biggest OTT platform for curated content," he emphasized ItsMajja’s commitment to regional storytelling.

"Our goal has always been to empower audiences with content that reflects their culture and language. Regional content is the future of digital entertainment, and ItsMajja Bangla is dedicated to pushing the boundaries of storytelling," he stated.

Echoing this sentiment, Anant Shrivastava, Business & Strategy Head of Media One Solutions & ItsMajja Bangla, spoke about the deep-rooted cultural impact of the platform’s expansion into Bengali content. "India is a land of diverse languages and traditions, and content has the power to bring people together.
