Director Karan Johar impressed with Nargis Fakhri's Performance in 'Spy'

Mumbai, June 17 (IBNS): Only one week to go for the release of Hollywood film ‘Spy’ in India and actress Nargis Fakhri is already making a huge impact with even director Karan Johar appreciating her performance in the movie.

Karan Johar, who was in awe of the actress, shared his admiration on Twitter as he said, “Saw #Spy last night! What a fantastic fun film!!!! And @NargisFakhri you kicked ass! Literally..Congratulations @lauriefeig....I loved it!”

The film has released internationally and has also been showcased at various special screenings in India.

Nargis plays the role of a special agent and the audience has loved her special appearance in the film. She has now gained another admirer from Bollywood – director Karan Johar.

Nargis has worked hard for her role, even undergoing extensive training to get her moves right.

‘Spy’ is set to release on June 19.

The film also stars Hollywood actors Melissa McCarthy, Jason Statham, Rose Byrne, Miranda Hart, Bobby Cannavale, Allison Janney, and Jude Law.
