Deepika wishes she could have met Suchitra Sen

Mumbai, Dec 9 (IBNS) Deepika Padukone was recently shooting for Piku in Kolkata. The actress was really enthralled by the city and had been enjoying the culture and flavor of the city but regretted missing one thing.

The only thing that she missed in the beautiful city is the fact that she could not meet the Bengali actress Suchitra Sen, as she passed away early this year.

Deepika Padukone has always been a huge admirer of Suchitra Sen, not only because she was a great actress but also because she was the most beautiful woman during the golden era of cinema.

Deepika is bewitched by the grace and beauty of the legendary actress and would have loved to see her in person and interact with her.

She has had a lovely time in Kolkata but feels the city is incomplete without Suchitra Sen.

Interestingly, Suchitra Sen did not meet any outsider since the time she retired from films in 1978. No one saw her since then as she chose to remain a recluse and lead a spiritual life.
