Dangal crosses Rs.150 crore mark

Mumbai, Dec 28 (IBNS): Marching strongly ahead, Aamir Khan's latest movie 'Dangal' has crossed the Rs. 150-crore mark.

The movie, which hit the silver screen on Friday,has earned Rs. 155.53 crores so far.

"#Dangal Fri 29.78 cr, Sat 34.82 cr, Sun 42.35 cr, Mon 25.48 cr, Tue 23.07 cr. Total: ₹ 155.53 cr. India biz. AWESOME!," film critic Taran Adarsh tweeted.

Directed by Nitesh Tiwari, Dangal is a biopic of India's foremost wrestling family, the Phogats.

The movie stars Aamir Khan as former Indian wrestler Mahavir Singh Phogat and Fatima Sana Sheikh and Sanya Malhotra as wrestlers Geeta and Babita Phogat respectively.

Dangal released on Dec 23, 2016 in India.
