Daler Mehndi to make Kuwait say 'Ta Ra Ra Ra'!

| | Sep 03, 2014, at 11:26 pm
Mumbai, Sept 3 (IBNS): Indian King of Pop Daler Mehndi is set to take audiences by storm on Friday at the Daiya Handball Indoor Stadium in Kuwait.
The concert organized by the Indian Cultural Society (ICS) has been named ‘Bolo Ta Ra Ra Ra’ in honour of Daler Mehndi’s globally popular track by the same name.

The ICS is a pioneer in presenting quality socio cultural entertainment for Indians living in Kuwait. The popular theatrical show ‘Kaifi Aur Main’ by renowned artists Shabana Azmi and Javed Akhtar was among the ICS’s recent presentations. The show received an impressive response in Kuwait, as do most other shows by the ICS.

Daler Mehndi has been specially invited to perform not only because of his status as a pop icon but also because of his philanthropic contributions in India and around the world.

His zeal for environmental conservation and his spiritual orientation has highly impressed the management of the ICS. “I am very excited about this performance. It is a high honour for me to be recognized for my activities beyond making music. It feels great to know that organizations like the ICS are promoting quality socio-cultural entertainment for our people in Kuwait,” says Daler Mehndi.

Having delivered enthralling performances across the Middle East in the past, Daler Mehndi will be performing for the first time in Kuwait. Since Kuwait has a large Indian population, the concert is expected to be a grand success.
