Alia Bhatt pens heartfelt note for Ranbir Kapoor on Animal's successful opening

Bollywood actress Alia Bhatt couldn't hold back from sharing a heartfelt note on social media for her actor husband Ranbir Kapoor, whose new film 'Animal' opened in the box office with a meaty number.

Alia shared a post where Ranbir was also seen with their Raha though she was not visible much.

Alia wrote, "For all that you are on and off camera. For the patience, silence and love you give your craft.. & for the person you are to your family. For taking such huge strides as an artist.. & for literally making our daughter take her first steps today..

"For completely blowing us away your performance… & for making all of the above look so easy. Congratulations my not so little animal."

'Animal' has recorded the third highest opener with Rs. 54.75 crore on the first day since its release.

'Animal' follows 'Jawan' (Rs. 65.50 crore) and 'Pathaan' (Rs. 55 crore) in the top three list.

The film is centred on a complex relationship between father (played by veteran Anil Kapoor) and his son (Ranbir Kapoor).

The trailer shows Anil Kapoor was unable to give much time to his son while Ranbir has a great admiration for his father.  Later, the son's love for father creates conflict between the two.

Apart from Anil Kapoor and Ranbir, the film features Rashmika Mandanna and Bobby Deol in the lead.

While Rashmika plays Ranbir's romantic interest, Bobby Deol is likely to be a surprise element for the audience.
