Actor Ranbir Kapoor turns 32

Mumbai, Sept 28 (IBNS): Bollywood's 'Rockstar' Ranbir Kapoor, who has earned a a huge fan following owing to his good looks and acting skills, turned 32 years of age on Sunday.
Ranbir is the grandson of legendary actor and filmmaker Raj Kapoor and son of actors Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Singh.
 
The actor has won the heart of millions with his performances in ‘Barfi’ and ‘Rockstar’.
 
He started his career as an assistant director under Sanjay Leela Bhansali.
 
Ranbir made his acting debut with the film ‘Saawariya’. Though the film was not a successful venture at the box office, Kapoor won the Filmfare Award for the film in the category of Best Male Debut.
 
‘Saawariya’ was followed by few films like ‘Bachna Ae Haseeno’, ‘Wake Up Sid’, ‘Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani’, and ‘Rocket Singh: Salesman of the Year’, among others.
 
His next venture, political thriller 'Raajneeti' was a turning point in his career, not only because of the commercial success that the film earned, but his performance in the role of Samar Pratap was praised by the critics.
 
He also starred in Imtiaz Ali's ‘Rockstar’, which earned him his first Filmfare Award in the category of Best Actor.
 
His film ‘Barfi’ was not only critically and commercially successful but made an entry to the Oscars.
 
Ranbir's performance in the film was heavily praised by the critics.
 
The actor's made a whopping success at the Box-Office with  ‘Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani’ alongside Deepika Padukone.
 
Ranbir's upcoming projects include 'Jagga Jasoos', 'Roy' and 'Bombay Velvet'.
