Aamir Khan's big day: Actor to marry Gauri Spratt today

The couple have known each other for nearly 25 years but began dating only two years ago.

Aamir made their relationship public on his 60th birthday during a media interaction, introducing Gauri and confirming they were together.

Private ceremony with close family

The wedding will be held at Aamir Khan's Bandra home with around 150 guests expected to attend.

Several relatives are also likely to travel from overseas for the celebrations.

Aamir's three children—Junaid Khan, Ira Khan and Azad Rao Khan—are expected to be present.

Gauri Spratt's six-year-old son from her previous marriage, who has largely stayed away from the spotlight, is also likely to attend.

Aamir Khan's earlier marriages

This will be Aamir Khan's third marriage.

The actor first married his childhood sweetheart, Reena Dutta, in a private ceremony in 1986. The couple had two children, Junaid and Ira, before ending their 16-year marriage in 2002.

In 2005, Aamir married filmmaker Kiran Rao, whom he met on the sets of Lagaan, where she worked as an assistant director.

They separated in 2021 but continue to co-parent their son, Azad, who was born via surrogacy.

Who is Gauri Spratt?

Originally from Bengaluru, Gauri Spratt has spent much of her life in the city. She is the daughter of Rita Spratt, who owned a salon in Bengaluru.

According to her LinkedIn profile, Gauri studied at Blue Mountain School before completing an FDA course in Styling and Photography at the University of the Arts London in 2004.

She currently runs a BBlunt salon in Mumbai.
