Yadav speaks with John Kerry on India's climate action target

New Delhi: Bhupender Yadav, Union Minister of Environment, Forest and Climate Change had telephonic call with John Kerry, Special Presidential Envoy for Climate, USA on Jan 10 when they discussed India's climate action targets announced during COP26.

"Both leaders discussed to take forward the India- US Climate Action and Finance Mobilization Dialogue (CAFMD) through the four identified pillars, Climate Ambition, Finance Mobilization, Adaptation and Resilience, and Forestry," read a government statement.

Yadav highlighted the importance and need to focus on L.I.F.E (Lifestyle For Environment), ~ the one word campaign championed by PM Modi at Glasgow.

The leaders also discussed about the upcoming meeting of Major Economies Forum (MEF).
