#Women lodging false rape cases will be punished: Court
New Delhi, Jan 28 (IBNS): A Delhi Court on Wednesday ruled that women lodging false rape complaints will be now awarded punishment.
The court has directed police to lodge a complaint for registering a false rape case.
 
It said that while rape causes emotional distress and humiliation to a women, false cases also bring disgrace to the accused.
 
The court made the remarks while directing  to lodge a complaint against a woman who had registered a false rape case against a Delhi businessman.
