Lucknow/UNI: Without taking the name of SP President Akhilesh Yadav, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi questioned his education and said that without culture and proper education, a person cannot differentiate between traitors and nationalists.

He questioned not only Akhilesh but his education and values for taking the names of Sardar Patel and Jinnah together.

"In the early stages of education, if parents are not able to give proper values to the children, then it is difficult for them to differentiate between a patriot and a traitor," Yogi remarked.

The Chief Minister was addressing a program organised at his residence on Saturday to highlight a scheme of the Basic Education Department, the CM sent Rs 1980 crore through the DBT system to the account of the parents of the children. s for their uniforms, shoes, socks, sweaters and bags.

Over one crore 80 lakh students studying in government run primary schools will get the benefit of this scheme. Under this arrangement, Rs 1100 has been sent to the parents of every student.

The Chief Minister said that by using DBT technique, the department will also get freedom from the allegations of corruption.

Money transfer via Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) technology is aimed at eliminating corruption, he said, adding that teachers will have to ensure that students come to school wearing uniforms, shoes-socks and carrying bag-books.

There are more than six lakh teachers, instructors, Shikshamitras in the state, if they take up this responsibility then this dream can also become possible, he noted.

The Chief Minister said that the government has decided that every school should be adopted by public representatives, so that the students of basic education can get other basic facilities including clean drinking water.

Out of 1.60 lakh schools of basic education in Uttar Pradesh, 1.33 lakhs schools have been included in this scheme.
