"Will safeguard interest, be it Kashmir"

Islamabad, June 13 (IBNS) Pakistan army chief General Raheel Sharif on Saturday said the country is ready to ready to pay any price to protect the nationhood and safeguard interest like the Kashmir issue.

"Pakistan shown willingness to coop with other nations for peace but not at expense of our national interests,sovereign rights,national pride," Director General Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) Maj-Gen Asim Bajwa quoting Sharif  tweeted.

He said: "Ready to pay any price to protect our nationhood,safeguard interest, be it Kashmir,dev(development) of new ports,exploitation of natural resources."

He made the remarks at the Naval Academy passing out parade.
