West Bengal: Two criminals arrested in Kulpi with firearms

Kulpi (South 24 Parganas)/UNI: Police has arrested two criminal with firearms at Siddhiberia More area of Kulpi police station in south 24 parganas district here.

The two criminal indentified as Zakir Paik (37) and Ahadul Paik (26).

Superintendent of Police of the Sundarban Police District Vaibhav Tewari said that the Special Police Force launched a raid on Siddhiberia in the Sundarban Police

District on Thursday night after receiving information from secret sources.

Later, Zakir and Ahadul were arrested along with a motorcycle. Police have recovered four long firearms, 3 ammunitions and 16 live bombs. The criminal were taken to the Diamond Harbour subdivision court on Friday.
