West Bengal: Speeding bus hits level crossing barrier, 1 biker killed

Kolkata, Jan 10 (IBNS): An over-spending bus crashed into the barrier of a closed level crossing at Kulgachhia under Uluberia Police Station limits in West Bengal's Howrah district on Tuesday, killing a middle aged motorcyclist, reports said.

According to reports, the bus suddenly lost its control and hit the level crossing barrier.

Falguni Parui, a 35-year-old motorcyclist, was killed in the mishap.

Due to the incident, train service was disrupted there for nearly half an hour.

Police have seized the bus, while its driver is still absconding.
