West Bengal: One held for possessing firearms
Malda, May 12(UNI) Police arrested one person and seized firearms from his possession, after raiding his house at Jadupur in Kaliachak area here, last night.
According to sources, a team from Kaliachak Police Station raided Malek Shaikh's house based on a tip-off, and recovered two muskets and three one-shutters.
However, no ammunition was recovered during the raid, sources said.
Police produced Sheikh at the district court today.
