West Bengal Higher Secondary Board results declared

Kolkata, May 30 (IBNS): The results of the class 12-level West Bengal board exams were declared on Tuesday morning.

West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education President Mahua Das said 84.20 percent students have passed the exam making a slight increase over the last year's percentage.

Archisman Panigrahi from Hooghly Collegiate School who scored 99.2 percent topped the merit list which features 53 males and 13 females.

Das said 85. 15 per cent boys passed the exam while 83.26 percent female candidates were successful.

As in the class ten Board exam results, the the HS  merit list is also dominated by students from districts.

The Board President informed that about 7.56 lakh students had appeared for the exam.
