West Bengal: Actor Yash Dasgupta joins BJP ahead of Assembly polls

Kolkata: Tollywood actor Yash Dasgupta joined Bharatiya Janata Party on Wednesday.

The move was made just months ahead of Assembly polls in West Bengal.

The actor joined the party in the presence of Kailash Vijayvargiya and Mukul Roy.

West Bengal is witnessing a tough political battle between the ruling TMC and BJP before the state polls.

Yash started his career in television and then made his debut on the silver screen with the title role in Bengali film Gangster.Yash Dasgupta is best known for his roles in Bojhena Se Bojhena and Na Aana Is Des Laado.
