West Bengal: 57-year-old man tests positive for COVID-19

Kolkata: A 57-year-old man from Kolkata on Tuesday tested positive for novel coronavirus, taking the tally in West Bengal to 27.

The man is a resident of Kolkata's Belghoria area and is currently undergoing treatment at a local private hospital.

While the eastern state is taking strict measures to stop the spread of the virus, on Monday  it recorded the second death after a 46-year-old woman, mother of three, died of coronaviurs at the North Bengal Medical College and Hospital in the wee hours. The woman was from Kalimpong.
