WB student killing: Arrested CP leader sent to police custody

Kolkata, Aug 20 (IBNS): Congress Chhatra Parishad (CP) leader Paltu Ojha, who was arrested in connection with the killing of a student inside a college campus in West Bengal, has been sent to police custody for six days.
After night-long interrogation, West Midnapore district police on Thursday arrested CP leader Paltu Ojha.

He was produced in the Midnapore Court later and sent to police custody for six days.

Congress Chhatra Parishad (CP) activist Krishna Prasad Jana, a B.A. third year student of Sabang Sajanikanta Mahavidyalaya was allegedly killed during a clash between CP and TMCP inside the college campus in West Midnapore district on Aug 7.

Police had earlier arrested three suspects- Sk. Sanwar Ali, Sk. Munna and Asim Maity- in connection with this case.
