WB CM Mamata Banerjee calls on PM Narendra Modi

New Delhi, Apr 10 (IBNS): Chief Minister of West Bengal, Mamata Banerjee, called on the Prime Minister Naremdra Modi in New Delhi on Monday.

Although details of the meeting have not been announced, it is likely that the issues surrounding West Bengal were discussed, according to some reports.

Banerjee was in Delhi to meet Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, who is visiting India on the invitation of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

This round of meeting between Mamata Banerjee and Narendra Modi is the first one in nearly eight months.
