Video of BJP leader Champion dancing with guns in hands goes viral

New Delhi, July 10 (IBNS): A video of a BJP leader Kunwar Pranav Singh ‘Champion’, who could be seen dancing to a popular Bollywood number with guns in his hands, has gone viral.

In the video, the BJP lawmaker from Uttarakhand could also be seen keeping a gun on his mouth.

He was reportedly suspended by the party in June for three months for allegedly misbehaving with journalists.

He could be seen wearing a black vest and white trousers in the video.

Taking a sip of a drink from a glass, he is also seen holding a rifle in his hand.

The BJP leader, however, said the video was shot three years ago.

“They fished out this three-year-old video just to malign my image with a malicious, ulterior motive,” he was quoted as saying by Hindustan Times.

Kunwar Pranav Singh ‘Champion’ was one of the 9 MLAs who had rebelled against former chief minister Harish Rawat in 2016.

He had joined the BJP.

The BJP indicated that it would take action against him.

“We are going to serve him a notice asking why he should not be terminated from the party. Our party mandate is discipline and we will not allow anyone violating it,” Ajay Bhatt, the BJP’s state unit president, wwas quoted as saying by Hindustan Times.
