Vice President Presented with 'Bharat Scouts & Guides Flag Sticker' on it's Foundation Day

New Delhi, Nov 10 (IBNS): A delegation of Bharat Scouts and Guides led by its National Commissioner Shri Nagrajan presented the Vice President of India Shri M. Hamid Ansari with the ‘Sticker Flag’ of Bharat Scouts and Guides on the occasion of its Foundation day here today. They also presented a Memento and a set of literature on their various activities to the Vice President. The Vice President wished the Bharat Scouts and Guides the good success in their social and educational activities for the youth of our country.

Bharat Scouts and Guides is the largest youth organization in the country functioning as a purely voluntary and non-political organization since 7th November, 1950. All the different scouts and guides associations merged together to form a unified organization called Bharat Scouts and Guides. Every year 7th November is celebrated as its Foundation Day. It is also being celebrated as the ‘Bharat Scouts and Guides Flag Day’ since its Golden Jubilee in the year 2000.
