Vice President M Venkaiah Naidu tests COVID-19 positive

New Delhi: Vice President M Venkaiah Naidu on Sunday tested COVID-19 positive.

He is currently in Hyderabad.

He isolated himself for seven weeks after testing positive for COVID-19.

The development was informed on the official Twitter page of the Vice President.

"The Vice President, Shri M. Venkaiah Naidu, who is in Hyderabad, tested COVID positive today. He has decided to remain in self-isolation for a week. He has advised all those who came in contact with him to isolate themselves and get tested," read the tweet.
